The Earth Day Network Origins • First Earth day was held April 22nd, 1970, over 20 million Americans were involved • Influential impact on the Environmental Movement that is taking place in today's contemporary society. • Over 1 Billion people are taking a stand in the Environmental Movement worldwide, getting involved in diverse activities annually.
