  5. Reserving the Library • The library can be reserved for class research • We have 16 computers in the VC Library for student use, and 6 in the FC Library. • We encourage teachers to fill out a class planning form so the librarians have an idea of what you will be working on, and we can be better prepared to assist you and your class. • We can review data bases and other on-line resources with your class. • When you reserve the library for your class, you are expected to be in the library with your students.

  6. Student Policies • Students are allowed into the library during class time with a pass, and during lunch. • Teachers may send 5 students at a time to the library. If the library is full, reserved or your students are not on task they may be sent back to class. • Substitutes are not allowed to send students to the library unless prior arrangements have been made. • Library passes can be found in First Class/campus forms. • Overdue notices are sent to student’s 4th per. Teacher. When you receive these notices please give them to the student in a timely manner.

  7. Orientation Freshman and Sophomore English Teachers are encouraged to schedule a library orientation session in their library, but any teacher is welcome to do so. During this time we review library policies with the students, show them how to use the online catalog, and how to find books in the library.
