  2. What is CDCS? • CSSD’s Contractor Data Collection System • A secure, user friendly, web-based data collection tool • An evidenced-based on-going quality improvement tool

  3. CDCS Provides Outcome Data (A Critical Part of the Frameworks for Effective Treatment) Assessment Referral Treatment Outcomes • Reduce recidivism • Enhance community safety • Instill long term positive change in offender behavior

  4. When coupled with CSSD’s Case Management Information System and recidivism data, CDCS provides a comprehensive picture Recidivism Data CSSD’s CMIS CDCS

  5. CDCS Allows Data to be Viewed: • At an individual client level • Aggregated to a specific program location • Aggregated across an entire program model such as an AIC • Allows comparison across an entire system, such as CSSD adult services

  7. CDCS Data Elements CDCS data elements are customized to each service model. Typical elements include: • Referral • Intake • Assessment • Services • Community Based Service Referrals • Program Discharge

CDCS allows ad hoc and standardized reporting • Risk Reduction Indicators (Measures and goals selected using the RBA framework) • Lists (such as active client lists, discharged client lists, and wait lists) • Completion information (such as completion rates by location, by demographic categories, breakdowns of reasons clients don’t complete) • Client Level Reports (such as discharge reports and progress reports)
