2. Autism Every sixteen minutes, a child in the United States is diagnosed with autism.

3. This means that as many as 1.5 million Americans today are believed to have some form of autism.

4. That number is on the rise. Based on statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and other governmental agencies, autism is growing at a rate of 17-20 percent per year.

The Institute of Medicine used data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Vaccine Datalink, which concluded that children who are given three (3)thimerosal-containing vaccines are 27 times more likely to develop autism than children who receive thimerosol-free vaccines. *Josiah has received five (5)thimerosal-based vaccinations.
