  2. Description: Length: 6.5-12.75 in. Adult broadhead skinks are usually olive-brown and male broadhead skinks have orange-red heads. Young broadhead skinks are usually dark brown with 5-7 yellow stripes and have a blue tail. It is also said that the broadhead skink can give a powerful nip if threatened.

  4. Broadhead skink population It is estimated that on the eastern side of Kansas there is 1.1 broadheaded skinks and on the western side 0.12 estimated.

  5. Habitat of the Broadheaded skink The broadheaded skink mostly perfers moist woodlands and on edges of wood. Mostly found on logs, old farm houses, and trees. The broadheaded skink would mostly be found in tropic climates.

  6. Predator and Prey The broadheaded skinks eats mostly and kind of insect like grasshoppers, crickets, ants, etc. They will also eat their own kind. The broadheaded skink also gets eaten by snakes. Predator Prey

  7. Broadhead skink The broadheaded skink got placed on the endangered list because its population kept on getting eaten by other species. Also they are running out of their resources. The broadheaded skink also needs to eat without being threatened by other species.

  8. Broadheaded skinks life The broadheaded skink lives for a couple of years. They also reproduce pretty fast. They lay about five eggs at a time.
