Eindhoven region SRE Farm Scale PyroFormer: small scale pyrolysis of pig manure – feasibility study finished (HAS University of applied science) Flying on manure: production aviation fuel – exploratory research finished (Amsterdam University of applied science) 3. Production renewable resources from pig manure (transport fuel, dry organic mineral complex) ready to build (Renovia) Biobased Economy Park Eindhoven : 1. coordinate supply and demand heat grid, 2. apply pyrolysis oil, 3. develop biobased business: project proposal finished (Essent/RWE) Biobased Ad Blue: Ad Blue from pig manure additive for fossil fuels to reduce emission of NOx (EnergyportPeelland)

  5. Ile-de-France Fondaterra AD: Intercommunity association of Sanitization of Les Mureaux. Looking for other waste sources. Project most advanced. Contracting authority have been selected. 2. AD: Farm Aubetin: pig manure and agriculture waste. Looking for other wastes around. Project under construction. Business Case done but need of other wastes to be profitable. 3. Pyrolysis: Paris Airport . Project still in discussion. Progress slowly. The expression of interest form sent. 3 meetings organized. Use the electricity and gas for their own buildings. 4. Pyrolysis: Association of farmer-composter Plateau de Saclay. Project still in discussion. Are interested but want to know more about the technology 5. AD: Equimeth. Well advanced. 37 600 tons of waste: >50% equine manure. Feasibility almost done. Estimated costs 3 000 000 euro.

  7. Northrhine-Westphalia WSE Biogas plant Kerpen (STAWAG Energie GmbH) Biogas plant Dueren (Liesen GmbH) Early stage in Oberhausen (FraunhoferUmsicht)

Wallonia Cluster Tweed Innovation platform biomass valorization by gasification (Xylowatt, Innovity, GreenWin): pre-feasibility study shared industrial scale (testing and valorization) unit completed: non-positive results. CTA business case: Dry discontinuous bio methanisationCentre of Agricultural Technology of Strée. Waiting for a new call for proposals of the Wallonia Region. Interested in pyrolysis test digestate. Small-scale bio-methanisation training plant by ForemEnvironement: Not feasible. Forem will probably organize on site visits to provide its training courses. Waiting for final report.

  10. Actions BSC’s support/write studies and plans (structured approach) Using Decision Support System to identify new (high potential) sites Exchange experience, knowledge, plans, instruments etc. We will plan meetings between partners (SRE, Aston, BSC’s) to learn from each other
