  1. Preliminary Analysis of CCE Omics Data CCE Retreat Meeting 2011

  2. Outline • Summary of CCE Omics Data • Data Analysis Procedure • Preliminary Results

  3. Summary of CCE Omics Data Note: only the first time visits are included if multiple visits are available from the same patients.

  4. Overlaps Between Different Omics Data • Overlaps between any TWO data sets: • Overlaps among any THREE data sets

  5. Overlaps Between Different Omics Data • Overlaps among any FOUR data sets • Overlaps among all FIVE data sets

  6. Analyzing Overlapped Data in All Omics • Data summary: • Data Analysis: pairwise comparisons between any two diagnosis groups (i) Analyze each omics data separately: t-test (COMET & TEAC) & GOCRE-S (ii) Integratively analyze all omics data: GOCRE-S

  7. Results • Polyp v.s. Healthy: Sample Size=76 Note: 1.The two variables for Comet and the variable for Teac are insignificant based on significant level 0.05. 2: #SigVars is the number of variables having p-value < 0.05 based on univariate t-tests. The values in bracket is based on Bonferroni method. 3. The 5 significant variables in “Integrate” are from “GP”.

  8. Results • Polyp v.s. Colorectal: Sample Size=43 Note: 1. The two variables for Comet are significant but the variable for Teac is insignificant based on the significant level 0.05. 2. The 28 significant variables in “Integrate” are from “GP”.

  9. Results • Colorectal v.s. Healthy: Sample Size=59 Note: 1. The two variables for Comet and the variable for Teac are insignificant based on significant level 0.05. 2. The 18 significant variables in “Integrate” are: 1 from “Lipid”; 17 from “GP”.
