Different Types of Scientists and What They Do: Archaeologists: study existing and ancient human cultures and their lifestyle. Astronomers: study stars, planets and galaxies. Botanists: study the plant kingdom, classification of plants and plant habitats. Ecologists: study the relationship between living organisms and their ecosystem or environment.
