Directions • You are on an ocean trawl and you haul up the following fish in your net. • Fill out the student sheet: Name, date, time, and hypothesis before you proceed from this slide. • Use the DMR resources page for Common Salt Water fish to help you (at the end): http://www.maine.gov/dmr/recreational/anglerguide/doyouknowyourcatch/index.htm

  3. Open the DMR site (previous page) • Click the fish for each slide and read more about it. • On a piece of lined paper, describe 5 adaptations of each fish (swimming style, fin shape, tail shape, how they feed, etc) • Then answer the questions on the first paper given (that is last). Turn all of this in or finish it for homework. • We will dissect the Perch next class.
