ADATC Acute Care Unit • Individual with SA Disorder or SA/MH and ISA*, or • Candidate for ISA and needing initial stabilization and observation, or • Individual with SA Disorder or SA/MH and acute intoxication with no appropriate community treatment YES History of violence with imminent risk of reoccurrence YES Referral to Psychiatric Hospital NO Significant/Dangerous Withdrawal Referral to General Hospital per Medical Clearance Policy. YES NO Referral to General Hospital: Medical Clearance Policy Refer third trimester pregnant women to regional High Risk Centers** NO YES Individuals with SPMI and history of significant psychiatric stability and treatment compliance? Referral to Psychiatric Hospital: Primacy Policy NO YES Patient Appropriate ACCEPT * Primary target population for the Acute Care Unit **W.B. Jones ADATC will accept third trimester pregnant women with a history of significant psychiatric stability and treatment compliance. 07/08/2008
