  1. What is the Future of Event Identification

  2. For the past couple of years the event industry is facing glitches when planning to expand and utilize the RFID wristbands. The major reason of these glitches is the skyrocketing cost. Getting the RFID wristbands that are backed by the hardwares and the event access control systems can be a pricey affair. However, quite recently we have seen a change in this all accredited to the introduction of Mifare Contactless Card and the Omnikey Reader.  • The cost of the RFID wristbands, Mifare Contactless Card and the Omnikey Reader is plummeted all because of the highly cost friendly manufacturing processes for the production and manufacturing of the chips/inlays that is used in the RFID wristbands.

  3. In addition to all this, with the introduction of the new and the latest generation of smartphones by Samsung that are NFC-enabled the RFID wristbands have technically become a more feasible and viable option. Now, the question that really needs to be answered is that, is RFID really the future of event identification?  • The method trick used in the tracking of the stock is the unique ID that is possessed by every RFID chip. Using this, it would get easier to track every minute detail about the events. There is another feature associated with the RFID wristbands that is the NFC. NFC stands for Near Field Communications. In the event based association the NFC enabled phone can actually encode AND scan an RFID wristband. Thus, you’ll no longer need any expensive hardware or dedicated RFID that can get high on budget for the users.

  4. Why RFID is the way to go? • it will auto sync, and link you to the systems that will be capable of doing things such as getting you enrolled in competitions that will bag you multiple offers and discounts such as discounts on your next drink, movie, etc. You will also be able to update your Facebook status using these RFID wristbands.

  5. Easier and faster access The RFID wristbands will allow easier access during the events or will even facilitate the process of potentially cashless transactions. For those who enjoy wireless technology, such as 3G or 4G speed of internet, Bluetooth, etc, will also be enabled with the help of RFID wristbands. • Social media integration The RFID wristbands have opened by a new wave of possibilities since its introduction. Thus, with the use of RFID wristbands you’ll be able to integrate easily with all the social media applications such as the Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and others if any. Thus, this new technology is indeed going to be a Future of Event Identification.
