Activity Scope of activity: Ødigitisation of the Hungarian cultural heritage; Øcreating, storing and supplying long-lasting digital documents; Ødevelopment of methodical and content-related issues connected to digital library duties; Øconstruction and maintenance of a meta-database; Øprofessional education and postgraduate studies.

Services • Main services 1: • WebKat.hu –the online catalogue of Hungarian Internet sources; • Digital Literary Academy – online database of Hungarian contemporary literature; • digitisation and publication of texts on the Internet; • meta-database of Hungarian libraries, museums and archives;

Services • Main services 2: • discography of CD-ROMs published in Hungary and list of CD-ROM publishers/developers; • publication ofCD-ROMs; • organisation of professionalpostgraduate studies; • participation in the development of the library standards and methods related to electronic documents;
