  20. AYP Criteria for Reading and Math Districts and campuses must meet AYP targets for PARTICIPATION and PERFORMANCE on state academic assessments in readingand math, Grades 3-8 and 10. Region IV Education Service Center, Houston TX

  25. NCLB English Language Proficiency Assessments • Title III requires states to conduct annual statewide assessments to show progress of LEP students in the domains of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension in K - 12 Region IV Education Service Center, Houston TX

  29. Mathematics • Districts will have the option to administer a released TAKS math test with appropriate linguistic accommodations as an alternative assessment for grades 3-8 and 10 who qualify for a LEP exemption from the live TAKS math test Region IV Education Service Center, Houston TX
