Enterprise Fixed Mobile Convergence Definition • Application is connected in the enterprise • Enterprise number is the primary number • And it’s the only number that you have to give out • And you could use your cell number for personal calls • Calls to/from the EFMC phone are carried over WiFi or Cellular depending on network quality • The EFMC phone uses a client that manages the call • Signaling over WiFi, Cellular-Data, or Cellular Voice • Audio over WiFi or Cellular Voice (3G - when supported by the carrier) • Manages handoffs • Provides GUI for cell and PBX features
