  3. Information Literacy (IL) “Information literacy forms the basis for lifelong learning. It is common to all disciplines, to all learning environments, and to all levels of education.   4. IL at AUC • LALT 101, required by Core Curriculum • Taught by faculty librarians • Introduces fundamentals of Information Literacy: finding, locating, and evaluating information
