PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
  • To provide services to Low Performing Schools
  • Schools not making Average Yearly Progress (AYP)
  • Children who are in Title One Schools
  • Reading & Mathematics
  • 2 hrs per day – 2 days per week

  • 1:3, 1:5, & 1:8 ratios

INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM AND STRATEGIES
  • 1. Teach from the goals and objectives listed on the student’s plan (2 Math & 2 Reading).
  • 2. Locate the instructional materials in the text provided and teach the materials.
  • 3. Provide an activity for the student that supports the objective.
  • 4. Allow the students to summarize (orally) the materials taught.
  • 5. Jot down notes in order to effectively write the Progress Reports.
