ACCESS/AVAILABILITY OF CARE Measures Prenatal and Postpartum Care (PPC) • Hybrid measure • Percentage of deliveries of live births between Nov 6th of 2009 and November 5th of this year who received the following care: • Timeliness of Prenatal Care – percentage of enrollees who received a prenatal visit within the first trimester • Postpartum Care – the percentages of enrollees who received a postpartum visit on or between 21 and 56 days after delivery

USE OF SERVICES Measures Frequency of Ongoing Prenatal Care (FPC) • Hybrid Measure • Percentage of deliveries of live births between Nov 6th and November 5th of this year who received the expected number of visits. A full 42 week gestational pregnancy is expected to have 16 prenatal care visits.

  4. Initial appointments for pregnant women or Enrollees desiring Family Planning Services and Supplies shall be provided within ten (10) days of the Enrollee’s request. Appointment scheduling
