The company is willing to launch each of these scooters after every six months starting from this year. According to a company official, the company aims to sell around 1 Lakh units within 2019 and 2021. Avan Motors will introduce these scooters at a price range of Rs.45000 – 80000. The company’s COO Hridesh Thakur commented on this by saying, "We have plan of introducing one new product in every six month in price range of Rs 45,000 to Rs 80,000." With a top speed of 45 kmph, all these six electric scooters are equipped with lithium ion batteries. With the introduction of its Xero+ high speed model, the company plans to introduce another model this month. Avan Motors COO Hridesh Thakur said that in the upcoming two months, each month the sales value of the company will cross 1,000 units.

  2. In a statement Thakur told PTI, "In the year 2019 we have a plan to sell around 25,000 units pan India and in the coming 2-3 years we are targeting to sell one lakh per annum depending upon market." According to Avan Motors, the company focuses on four things. It aims to promote more and more pollution free vehicles and contribute towards a clean environment. It promises to deliver products that are designed to provide maximum comfort. These scooters are cost effective as they will save fuel prices. Lastly, the company has equipped these scooters with forefront technology, making them smart scooters. Avan Motors is a start-up company and has a manufacturing plant at Hinjewadi, Pune. With a yearly production capacity of 36,000 on single shift basis, this manufacturing unit is spread over 22,000 sq ft. According to Thakur, the company focuses on its R&D department as well and has a team for the development of its products. Along with this, the company has also collaborated with the global technology providers from the UK and Europe to focus on the production of futuristic and innovative products. As far as the company’s reach is concerned, it has touched 25 points across the country so far. The company plans to increase this number to 200 by the end of this year. The brand will also set up new plants in the country. Thakur commented on this by saying, "As the market grows, we will come with minimum three more satellite plants across various regions." These electric scooters by Avan will come with 1000W and 1200W power batteries. These scooters are equipped with 60V26Ah, and 72V/32Ah lithium batteries for improved performance and speed. The company had showcased its concept electric scooter range at Electric Vehicle Expo 2018 in Delhi. With an aerodynamic design, large battery, and higher speed, these scooters are easy to ride. The only major drawback with this electric scooter can be their simple looks. Almost all electric scooters face this problem that despite their efficiency and amazing features, they look as short distance commuter vehicles.
