Strategy Map Purpose: To advance teaching, learning, & scholarship by providing an integrated set of services to JMU faculty and students. Financial Perspective Customer Perspective To achieve our mission, how must we look to our customers? If we succeed, how will we look to our donors or taxpayers? Customer Needs: Fund allocations match strategic priorities. High value to cost is achieved. Spaces promote teaching, learning and scholarship. Servicespromote teaching, learning and scholarship. Resourcespromote teaching, learning and scholarship. Resources promote teaching, learning and scholarship. Enterprise and innovation are fully funded. Internal Processes To satisfy our customers and financial donors, at which business processes must we excel? Service decisions reflect user priorities. Internal processes effect changes that improve operations and services. Advance as an intellectual center of the university. Integrated services create efficiencies in the pursuit of teaching, learning and scholarship. To achieve our mission, how must our organization learn and improve? Colleagues feel valued and morale is high. Professional development promotes excellence and innovation. Learning And Growth Infrastructures support services, strategies, and efficiency. A culture of assessment and improvement guide planning.
