One of the most common material used for building greenhouse is plastic. It is easier to build a greenhouse using plastic sheeting and costs less compared to glass frame while it helps in maintain heat and humidity inside. Depending on what type of plastic you need, you can choose from different variety of greenhouse plastic sheeting. Plastic is an ideal material as it can be used to make roofs as well. However, this plastic requires regular cleaning and inspection. • Polycarbonate Plastic- One of the most durable form of greenhouse plastic is known as polycarbonate plastic. It is a twin wall or double form and can easily last for a decade. If you are planning to build your greenhouse then you can choose this as a viable alternative when it comes to durability.
