  1. Early College HS @ MC Wednesday August 29, 2012

  2. Employee of the Month The #1 Counselor Mrs. Terri Coleman showed desire when she voluntarily spent her time off this summer assisting students with testing & scheduling of college classes

  3. Students of the Week • SENIOR: • Luis Gomez showed responsibility when he independently prepared for and attended the Youth & Government conference on National Affairs(CONA) in North Carolina. • JUNIOR: • Melissa Marquez showed kindness when she voluntarily came up to the school every time we called out for help this summer • SOPHOMORE: • Alexis Martin & Serena Martinez showed kindness when they opened the door & welcomed every freshman that entered freshman orientation. • FRESHMAN: • Casha Davis showed desire when she attended freshman orientation & participated in every activity we offered with both a smile & eagerness.

  4. Core Value Being part of the ECHS@MC community is an honor that must be cherished and upheld daily. ECHS@MC students and staff will live by the core values we have set for our community. It is the responsibility of all community members to maintain and support the following values: INTEGRITY: Doing what’s right even when no one is watching; being trustworthy

  5. Campus Tidbits • Textbooks: • Don’t need a college textbook? Check it back in to Mrs. Coleman ASAP • MISD Lunches: • Students: $2.45 • Adults: $3.25 • Millers’ Library: • If you have an outstanding library book from Mrs. Miller’s novel library those must be returned by the end of the week.

  6. Community Service Opportunities • Make a Difference Day annual fall clean up. • October 20th • Further details coming as they become available

  7. Club News • Midland Fellowship of Christian Students(FCS): Core team meeting Thursday after school in the student center

  8. Freshman Class News • 1. Freshman shirts are currently on sale in Mrs. Miller's room. Shirts are $15 each. Friday, 8/31 is the last day to purchase a shirt. All freshmen and their family members are welcome to order a shirt (or two...). All profits from shirt sales will help the class of 2016 start saving for our junior prom! • 2. Mrs. Miller is selling ECHS@MC car decals for $6. You may buy a decal before or after school or at lunch. Decals are NOT class specific, so anyone/everyone can buy one (especially if you got a car over the summer...hint, hint...)! Get one for grandpa's car! Show your ECHS@MC pride around town! :)

  9. Seniors Thank you for remembering to sign-in every morning!
