Case Summary • Dodgetown is culturally and economically diverse community, has high expectations for its children, and cherishes its ethnic diversity. • The school district has 10 kindergarten through sixth grade schools. • Silver Bullet Elementary has 33 teachers, 13 instructional aides, and the student population is 43% white, 30% Latino, 14% African American, 6% Asian, 5% Pacific Islander, and 2% Native American. • Silver Bullet is one of ten schools in the district that qualifies for Title I funds with 94% of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, serves as a center for LEP students, and provides instruction to 203 students who are not fluent in English . • Silver Bullets parents, administration, and staff are committed to the principle of celebrating life through learning.

She serves three months in jail, and is required to do 90 days of community service. • Ms. Night will be performing her community service duties at Silver Bullet Elementary School, and you have been assigned to supervise her.
