  4. < 30 minutes- demonstration only • Prepare bots and mats ahead of time, or have stations to race bots. • May want to build large version for demo- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-25ZrXOoaQ. Planning for Flexibility

  5. 30 minutes- Part 3 only (prepare bots and barriers ahead of time) • 1 hour- Complete parts 1 and 3 (prepare barriers ahead of time) • 1 ½- 2 hours- complete all three parts of the experiment • 2 ½ -3 hours- include extension activities Planning for Flexibility

  7. Camps: • Include experiment as part of a Junk-drawer robotics day camp • Conduct the experiment as part of a 1 day or ½ day camp during a teacher workday or school holiday Implementing Across Delivery Modes

School Enrichment/Afterschool: • Set up booth at PTA/PTO meetings, open house, or parent’s night for afterschool • Use experiment during ecology field days • Host a school contest for best dressed eco bot (tie into Halloween) or efficiency • Family Fun Science Night/Day Implementing Across Delivery Modes
