How are schools identified as TSI? • One or more subgroups not meeting target(s) two years in a row on one or more measures within Academic Achievement Indicator (Math proficiency, ELA proficiency, or RBG3) AND • One or more subgroups not meetings target(s) two years in a row within two or more remaining Indicators: Growth (Math/ELA MGP/AGP), ELPA (WIDA AGP), or Student Engagement (Math/ELA Opportunity Gap, Chronic Absenteeism)
Current DaTA Goal 1: Growth in ELA, Math, and Science Increase Catch up/Keep Up AGP by 2% in ELA and Math, and 2% increase in science scores GOAL NOT MET • ELA: Overall 2% increase • Decline in EL (1%), increase in IEP (1%), increase in FRL (3%) • Math: Overall 3% decline • Decline in EL (1%), decline in IEP (1%), decline in FRL (1%) • Science: Overall 12% decline in proficiency
Current DaTA Goal 2: Improved Climate Increase 3% in certain categories GOAL NOT MET • Overall decline in student survey response rates in most categories • Overall decline in family survey response rates in most categories • Overall decline in staff survey response rates in most categories Reasons: Change in timelines with surveys, not enough positive push for surveys, low response rates, change in leadership, lengthy questions
Next Steps for SPP • Continued goals similar to the previous school performance plan • School performance goals focused on • ELA, math, science scores for proficiency and growth • Tier I instruction for all students • Improved climate and engagement • Family engagement plan goals focused on • Student led conferences • Home visits
