Cassandra walker Hi! My name is Cassie Walker. This is my first year being a peer mentor and I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful program. I am a sophomore Biomedical Engineering major and I’m considering minoring in both Chemistry and Biology. I am involved with undergraduate research and love all of the valuable things I’ve learned from it. I am from Flower Mound, TX and attended Flower Mound High School. I have a younger brother, Nick, who is a sophomore in high school. When I was in high school, I was very involved in theatre and dance. I love the arts and can’t get enough of musicals and plays. As a peer mentor, I hope to help all of my mentees make the sometimes difficult transition from high school to college. If it weren’t for my peer mentor last year, I know I wouldn’t be as involved as I am. I want to help my mentees feel more comfortable with their freshman experience. Best Wishes, Cassie
