  3. A little bit about me… Off to see the Dauphin September, 1429 By Joan of Arc January, 1429 I wish people would quit asking about the voices I hear. They really are the voices of angels. I am sorry you cannot hear them, but these voices really tell me what I need to hear. Saint Catherine and Saint Margaret come to me, as I was told they would by Saint Michael, and give me guidance. I do what I must at the Lord’s command. That some do not believe me bothers me not. My proof if in the victory for France! His Grace the king may have told me to stop, but he does not overrule God! I must continue on to Paris. I know the Burgundians are near, but I have to continue. I have been told that the forces are overwhelming, but I have faith that we will pull through. God wants us to win. I just wish the Parisians themselves could see this! I tried to save my own life, and only be punished by the Church. However, God has other plans. Saint Margaret and Saint Catherine came to me last night. They told me that God was angry with my capitulation, my lie. I need to set everyone straight. I am doing the work of God. The voices I have heard all my life are divine in nature. I will not back down! Crazy, teenaged girl! By Charles V!! January, 1429 Save us, Joan!
