  1. Ramat Hadassah’s News November 2010 “Green Heart” The new business entrepreneur center project; “Green Heart” opened on October 26, 2010. The students work in three fields: growing herbs and plants, making soaps and natural cosmetics and manufacturing packages and wood products. The project is lead by professional guides and business men - all of whom are volunteers. The project is funded by the good will of NOABER foundation, ITON fund and Mrs. Louise Paktor - from Holland. Everyone involved in the project: students, staff members, businessmen and volunteers, are all excited and enthusiastic about the potential for success GREEN HEART OPENING Shabbat with the Parents It’s a tradition in Ramat Hadassah to invite the parents of the new students to spend the Shabbat in the village. This offers the parents a wonderful opportunity to experience the village’s life, the unique atmosphere of Shabbat, to become familiar with the staff and traditions of the village. SHABBAT WITH THE PARENTS Academy in Ramat Hadassah A unique cooperation with the board of education and “Oranim” College of Education: students for education, all of them graduates of youth villages, come back, live in Ramat Hadassah and help the children with community service. “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child” Sasha graduated Ramat Hadassah in 2008. She served the army and since august 2010 Sasha works as an educational instructor in “kfar Galim youth village”. Sasha says that the after 4 years in Ramat Hadassah she can easily connect to the children she works with, and help them get over the challenges and difficulties. Sasha’s story is one of many success stories of Ramat Hadassah’s graduates. Many of them serve the army in combat units and volunteer to meaningful positions in elite units.
