Currently, there are 62 RCEs recognised around the world (4 in the UK). 10. WAG ESDGC Strategy for Action Jan. ‘09 • HEIs to identify what actions they are taking to develop ESDGC within their institution. An analysis of good practice is produced to share with HEIs. • HEIs undertake a self analysis of where ESDGC is being taught within their institution and where it could be further incorporated. Prepared and Presented by Jan Morgan For Swansea University Learning and Teaching event. 2.6.09

  11. What has this meant for us? • Self analysis completed on course modules • Selected staff interviews conducted • Reported to HEFCW: • Much good practice at Swansea University, though some of it not recognised as ESDGC • More support and guidance to staff would be welcomed • ESDGC can be effectively embedded within existing curricula • A review of existing management instruments at the University could benefit ESDGC provision • Input to ‘ESDGC Good Practice’ report • Report available July 2009 Prepared and Presented by Jan Morgan For Swansea University Learning and Teaching event. 2.6.09
