  1. ALLIANCEORDER Front End Presentation 2 : Large Orders14 Oct 2009 (Based on Release 2.2) Michaël Petit

  2. Summary I Large Order, Umbrella overview • Large order (CCT) Definition / Purpose • Umbrella (UMB) Definition / Purpose • CCT/UMB flows in Alliance II Large Order, Umbrella / specificities • CCT/UMB common behavior • CCT

  3. I Large Orders, Umbrella overview

  4. I Large order, umbrella overview 1) Large order (CCT) Definition / Purpose • A large order (CCT) is a special type of order different than CSO or ISO. • Large orders are considered as contract in ERP and can reference several CSOs or ISOs. • Large Orders differ to normal CSO in that they only contain items which are both Billable and Priced (even with a value equal to zero). These are the items contractually agreed with the customer. This allows to: • Have the complete customer order entered in the Order Book at the beginning of the contract although the logistical materials to be delivered are not yet known. • Facilitate the order entry and execution by splitting the order into several small orders (CSOs or ISOs), representing "execution packages" and allowing these to be created all along the lifetime of the Large Order. • CSO or ISO are created in reference to the contract. They are created during the life of the order and include not only the contractually agreed items but also logistical items required to insure the order execution. • A Large Order is the triggering event to begin the order execution process (once the order has been fully validated from financial and technical point of view). No additional customer release order will be signed. CSOs or ISOs created in reference to Large Orders are therefore only created for internal execution purposes and do not represent any other customer contractual agreement and are not known by him

  5. I Large order, umbrella overview 2) Umbrella (UMB) Definition / Purpose • An Umbrella (UMB) is a special type of order close to CCT. • Umbrellas are considered as CSO in ERP but can reference several CSOs or ISOs. • As Large orders, Umbrellas differ to normal CSO in that they only contain items which are both Billable and Priced (even with a value equal to zero).

  7. II Large Orders, Umbrella specificities

  8. II Large orders, umbrella specificities 1) CCT/UMB common behavior Order creation : • Type can be selected in order creation manualy, from CCC or from file. • CCT or UMB are managed in Alliance like CSO. Order header : • ERP document ID field is dedicated to the contract N° generated in Blue Planet • CCT and UMB have two sub categories : • In Quantity • In Value

  9. II Large orders, umbrella specificities 1) CCT/UMB common behavior • CCT or UMB can be considered as Parent, compared to the linked CSOs or ISOs considered as children. • CSO can be linked to CCT or UMB by using the ERP reference ID and ERP Reference type fields: • Parent header data are linked to children header data and must be synchronized. In that purpose, two features are available : • During Parent sending to ERP, all children header dedicated data are align with the parent ones • In CSO children, a dedicated button can be used to align header data manualy.

  10. II Large orders, umbrella specificities 1) CCT/UMB common behavior • In all orders involved in Large order process (CSO/ISO linked to CCT/UMB) , it is possible to check alignement between parent and children. To proceed, a dedicated button is available and display the large order hierarchy and allow to navigate between all involved orders. Parent Large order Id and hyperlink Children Large order Id and hyperlink Alignement status

  11. II Large orders, umbrella specificities 1) CCT/UMB common behavior • When a parent is opened for modification, all the children are locked to avoid discrepancies between parent and children. Order Lines : • BOM cannot be chosen from CCC tab item addition. A CCT or UMB cannot contain logistical information, but only financial information (Billable and commercial items) • Billable can be aggregated during export and send to ERP. Specific unity check is involved and specific Large order line numbering is applied. • Structuring is not allowed on CCT or UMB billable

  12. II Large orders, umbrella specificities 2) CCT Order header : • Calculated supply chain promised date is not mandatory in CCT. Order lines : • Sourcing auto determination is not applied for CCT
