This study detected EpCOL1 to EpCOL12 expression in different tissues using Total RNA isolated from floral buds, peduncles, capsules, leaves, and roots as templates for semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The experiment was conducted four times with consistent outcomes. RNA quality control was confirmed by amplifying E. pusilla Actin.

Supplementary file 8. Detection of expression of EpCOL1 to EpCOL12 in different tissue Total RNA isolated from several different tissues, including floral bud/opened flower (F), peduncles (P), capsules (C), leaves (L) and roots (R) were used as templates for semi-quantitative RT-PCR. This experiment was repeated four times with similar results. Loading and RNA quality control were verified by amplification of the constitutive E. pusilla Actin. F P C L R
