This collage features various microbial cultures captured under controlled conditions (ODR=2) on a photographic light bench with consistent aperture and exposure settings. The displayed cultures include cyanobacteria (Synechocystis sp. 6803), the algae Botryococcus braunii, and Rhodobacter capsulatus, cultivated under autotrophic (H2, O2, CO2), photo-heterotrophic (anaerobic, with succinic acid), and heterotrophic (aerobic) conditions. Additionally, it showcases Rhodobacter sphaeroides, Ralstonia eutropha, E. coli DH5α, the yeast Candida molishiana, as well as Chlorella vulgaris and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, both grown photosynthetically.
