  3. Ask these questions . . . • What are the section’s priorities? • Are the priorities reflected in the budget? Is the budget clear? • What avenues are being used to put priorities into action? • At the Annual Meeting • Between the Annual Meetings (products, what needs to happen, what are the challenges) • Is your area of interest/passion in community health being addressed? What is your role? • If your area of interest/passion in community health not being addressed, what are you doing about it? • Do you have a fairly clear idea of your role in the section? Is it aligned with your interest/passion? • By November, what is the product?

Section Specific Functions Governance • Diverse nomination slate; all positions filled (2009, 2010) • 2 student awards, 2 member awards, 9 section service awards (2009) • Donations solicited; collected about $600 (2009) Student Committee • Student leadership positions filled (2009,2010 in process) Program Committee/Webinars • Oral Session: 1 roundtable, 45 oral, 8 posters, 3 business meetings (2009) • Webinars (3 in 2009) Policy Committee • Proposed policies reviewed in September Membership/Newsletter/Website • 3 Newsletters published annually (2009, 2010-1 to date) • Website (content moved to new site -2009)
