Graduation Requirements • 4 English • 4 Math • (Algebra I & higher) • 3 Science • Must have Biology • 1 World History • 1 American History • .5 American Government • .5Economics • 1 HOPE credit • One course through online learning • 1 Fine, performing, or practical art • 8 electives • Must total at least 24 credits • GPA must be 2.0 or above

History - Gov’t/Economics 2 Foreign Language GPA -3.5 weighted Qualifying Test Scores ACT = 29 SAT = 1290 Florida Medallion Scholarship 4 English 4 Math Algebra 1 and higher (Liberal Arts Math & Informal Geometry do not count) 3 Science (2 w/lab) 3 Social Studies - World History - Am. History - Gov’t/Economics 2 Foreign Language GPA -3.0 weighted • Qualifying Test Scores ACT = 26 SAT = 1170 Florida Gold Seal Scholarship 4 English 4 Math (Algebra 1 and Higher 3 Science (2 w/ lab) 3 Social Studies - World History - Am. History - Gov’t/Economics 1 Practical/Performing Arts 1 Hope 3 Vocational Courses (Must be a vocationalprogram completer with a min. 3.5 GPA in 3 courses.) GPA—3.0 weighted • Students who are on to track to graduate in 2014 will apply after December 1, 2013. • Students can track their progress toward Bright Futures eligibility by registering on FLVC.net • Volunteer Hours—100 hours for Florida Academic , 75 hours for Florida Medallion, 30 hours for Gold Seal • ACT and SAT scores vary by cohort year. Early Graduation EGO • To qualify: • Students must be on track to graduate • Students must have passed the Reading FCAT and Algebra 1 EOC. • Students must complete an “Intent to graduate Early” form it is available on the website. • Students must meet with counselor to discuss and to fix schedule appropriately. Next opportunity is January 2014. • Please Consider the following: • Do you have a plan why you want to graduate early? • Colleges & Universities frown upon this option . . . Double check with them before you make this decision • You can miss out scholarships & senior activities.

There is not a guarantee.

School • Visit the campus • Refine your search • Explore Scholarship Opportunities • Stay connected – join a club, play a sport.

Senior Year – TO DO • Fall – Continue to take rigorous course & earn good grades. • Apply for scholarships • Take the ACT or SAT for the 2nd time • Meet with your counselor • Complete College Applications • Take the ASVAB for Military • Apply for Bright Futures after December 1 • Winter – Avoid Senioritis • Complete the FASFA after January 1 • Continue doing well in classes • Graduate • Last time to take ACT/SAT for Bright Futures is June test dates
