Tiny.cc/mrshughes The class website will be your go-to spot for homework, class notes, announcements, extra help resources, printable papers, and much more. Palmer Junior Middle School Front Office: 761-4300 Classroom: 761-4345 • School Planner • Composition notebook • 4 rolls of tape • Sharpened pencils • Markers/colored pencils • Scissors Supply List You need your planner and science journal every day • Register to receive text messages and/or e-mail messages with reminders, homework assignments, and other class information. • Your information stays private. • Notifications can be seen on the class website without signing up. • Sign-up instructions are on the class website & provided in class. Hallway Coupons Life Science These are used to go to the bathroom or locker during class; limited number are given each quarter. Mrs. Hughes Sarah.Hughes@matsuk12.us Homework & Extra Help • Tests/Quizzes: 40% • In-class & homework: 20% • Labs/projects: 20% • Journals: 15% • Preparation & participation: 5% • Homework will be posted on the class • website and sent via Remind! daily. • If the homework is not posted you should e-mail the teacher. • Homework will be given frequently. • Late homework will lose 30% • Students can get extra help during lunch, before, & after school most days Grading You have 1 week to redo an assignment after it has been graded
