Yes , the CLAT test . CLAT 2019 is upcoming turn for all the law aspirants in India to get into the best law institutes. So hope you have already started your CLAT exam preparation for CLAT 2019-2020 . If so here is our Preparation tips for CLAT Exam as well as the Latest CLAT syllabus . CLAT – The Common Law Admission Test Let us learn more about the CLAT 2019 in detail to understand everything about the CLAT exam Who can give CLAT Exam? Candidates who wish to pursue their bachelors in legal studies from the reputed National Law universities can give the CLAT exam. This is an entrance test for law aspirants. Candidate must have 45% aggregate in their higher secondary exams to appear and luckily there is no age bar to give this test. Thos who are giving the 12th board exam can also appear for the CLAT Exam. Common Law Admission Test 2019 Last year , that is CLAT 2018 was conducted by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NULS) Kochi . And this year CLAT 2019 will be conducted by the National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO). Expected CLAT Exam date 2019 – May 12th 2019 (Sunday) This year one more National law university is included in the list thus increasing the number of seats for CLAT 2019 to 2420 seats.

Take a look at the CLAT Exam pattern – CLAT 2019 CLAT 2019 Exam will be conducted in online mode . The exam will be of MCQ question format carrying out 200 questions for UG , 150 question for PG . And the time duration remains to be 2 hours for both. Medium of exam will be English . Every wrong answer will carry a negative marking of 0.25 marks . Elementary mathematics 20 20 CLAT 2019 – PG LAW PROGRAMME EXAM PATTERN Following are the sections from which CLAT 2019 questions will be asked for PG Law programme aspirants –  Law if Torts  Property Law  Family Law  Law of Contracts  Jurisprudence  International Law  Criminal Law  Intellectual Property law There will a total of 150 questions carried out for 150 marks from different sections. Some legal prepositions based questions with fact of legal proposition will be raised. You have to choose whether that is True or not. Though there is not a clear idea about the syllabus for this section. Last year questions from Legal aptitude section were easier to the candidates. As per the 2018 CLAT Question paper, the legal aptitude section last year had questions based on the following sections –  Legal principles based questions  10 questions related to Legal knowledge of Indian constitution Elementary Mathematics For this section candidates should study Class 10 level maths and numerical ability questions.   8. You have sufficient time now to start a very strong preparation for th upcoming 2019 CLAT Exam which is going to be on May. You have an average of 8-9 months to prepare.
