  6. Why does this make this Passover so significant? Luke 22:1 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover. Luke 22:7 Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed. • Interchangeability of the word Passover with Feast of Unleavened Bread is important to understand certain times

  7. Why does this make this Passover so significant? Mat 26:1-2 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, He said to His disciples, 2 "You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.“ Matt 26:17 Now on the first [day] of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"

  8. WHY DAY OF THE WEEK 1ST 2ND 3RD 4TH 5TH 6TH 7TH Jesus dies about the 9th Hr Jesus hurriedly buried before Sabbath which begins at sundown John 40-4141 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. 42 So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews' Preparation [Day], for the tomb was nearby.

  10. WHY • Luke 22:15 15 Then He said to them, "With [fervent] desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 "for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. • John 10:17 "Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.“

  11. WHY • I Cor. 1123-26 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the [same] night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same manner [He] also [took] the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink [it], in remembrance of Me." 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

  12. WHY Now to answer the question that I left when I began the lesson. • Why am I here? The Apostle Paul answers! • I Cor 11:17 Now in giving these instructions I do not praise [you], since you come together not for the better but for the worse. • 18 Forfirstof all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.
