Fundado por el sacerdote belga Gustavo Le Paige, el Museo Arqueológico que lleva su nombre muestra la evolución de la cultura atacameña a lo largo de más de once mil años, a través de una valiosa colección de arqueología andina que incluye, entre otras cosas, piezas de cerámica, vestimentas, utensilios y momias, siendo famosa la antigua momia atacameña encontrada en el desierto y bautizada como Miss Chile.
