Background • January 10, 2012 Markets Committee meeting: • Refer to the Demand Resources Working Group the issue of Demand Response asset auditing for further discussion with the expectation that a proposal be developed and presented to the Markets Committee in the later part of 2012 • DRWG discussed Demand Response (“DR”) Asset Auditing • Beginning in February 2012 • Included as a discussion topic at each monthly meeting • Additional meeting specifically on DR New Asset Auditing • June 20 • August 15 • September 27 • Initial presentation at MC on October 11, 2012 • Reference my presentation for agenda item A15

Types of Audits • New Asset Audit: • A “new asset audit” could be used instead of a resource level audit to establish the capability of new assets – i.e., assets that do not have a valid audit value • Asset would be eligible for a new asset audit for a summer and a winter season • Does not replace Seasonal Audit requirement for the resource • One new asset audit will be allowed per month per resource • All new assets in a resource are audited together as a group during a new asset audit

Use of Event Performance Data… • Changed event duration from 2 hours to the first 60 minutes following the 30-minute notification time • Participant must request use of the event as an audit within 7 days

Demand Reduction Values for RTDR • For months during seasonal DR Audit Period eliminate the use of Seasonal DRV • Replaced use of seasonal DRV with sum of audit values for mapped assets when no RTDR event hours or resource audit in month • Section III.13.7.1.5.8. Demand Reduction Values for RTEG • For months during seasonal DR Audit Period eliminate the use of Seasonal DRV • Replaced use of seasonal DRV with sum of audit values for mapped assets when no RTEG event hours or resource audit in month
