Ingredients: ● ● ● ● Aval / Poha - 2 cups 2 cups of water Salt-required as per taste 2 tablespoons finely grated coconut To Temper ● ● ● ● ● ● Sundew refined sunflower oil—2 tsp. Mustard - ½ teaspoon Urad dal-1 teaspoon Chana dal-1 tablespoon Green chilli - 1 Curry leaves—1 sprig. Method: ● Take a thick variety of poha or aval and powder the aval or poha coarsely in a mixer. Use a juice jar to even out the powdered mixture. Heat the pan with oil and temper the ingredients on a low flame, then add two cups of water. Add some salt to taste. Now boil the mixture. Now add the powdered aval or poha and mix well. Cook until the mixture is dry and has absorbed all the water. This process will take approximately 2 minutes. Switch off the stove and add the grated coconut to the mixture and let it cool down. Grease the idli plate and make kozhukattai out of the aval mixture and steam it for about 5 minutes.
