  1. Washington StateUniversity Third Party Access Friend Account Holder

  2. Third Party Access As an authorized Friend of Washington State, authorized to access a students information, this guide will help you navigate the information successfully. To begin your review, you will be required to log into our portal to WSU, zzusis. http://portal.wsu.edu.

  3. Your User ID and password The zzusis User ID is the Friend ID that authorized your access or you e-mail account. For Mabel Cougar, the User ID is mabelcougar@hotmail.com . When Mabel was authorized by Butch, she received a notification from the Friend system that led her through activation of her Friend account and helped her establish a password. That password is used in the Password portion of the logon.

  4. Using zzusis • Now that you have logged into zzusis, as a Friend, you have the center panel dedicated to your access. • Select “Access Shared Info” and you will begin the process.

  5. Another option for accessing the student information is to go to Main Menu, Self Service and Third Party.

  6. Now that you have successfully reach the Third party area, select “Access Student Shared Information”.

  7. The Third Party Access process was created to allow multiple viewing options for the Third party (Parent) and student. If the Third Party has been authorized by 3 or 4 students to have access to their information, each authorized student will appear on this page. The user must now select the student they wish to view.

  8. Upon selecting the Student, the user will have see the area’s for which they are authorized appear. The user will then select the option to view. This is not a full comprehensive view all, the pieces are individual and the user can “arrow back “ from the navigation bar to get back to the list. Or use Cancel at the bottom of the page to return to the list.

  9. By selecting Class Schedule, Mabel Cougar is able to view the courses Butch has been enrolled in. Using Cancel, she will return to the list.

  10. Still in Progress! • This new program is still in progress, currently the Student Finance system is not active. This means that until the go live for Student Financials, July 2, 2012, authorized Third parties will not have access to billings via zzusis. • Students who have a billing and have reauthorized the parent can print the access from their zzusis page and forward it to the parent, the parent will still have access to pay billings through the web service at www.wsu.edu/payment • Questions or support if you can not logon and believe you should have access can be sent to the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@wsu.edu or call 509-335-4357 (help)
