Guwahati: A 32-year-old man from Assam was detained in Manipuru2019s Jiribam district for allegedly killing his cousin with a sharp object in the Chengkoorie region near Silchar town on Tuesday.<br><br>Nisha Sinha, a 22-year-old mother of a 3-year-old, was found unconscious and seriously injured at a ground near her home at around 3 pm on Tuesday, according to officials.<br><br>

ThearrestedaccusedidentifiedasAmarSinha,residentofChengkoorieareaofSilchartown.HeworksinManipur’sJiribamareaforaprivatebankandlatelyreturnedhomeforsomereason. Accordingtosources,nearherbody,asharpobjectwasrecovered.AmarSinha’sidentitycardwasalsofoundonthegroundbypolice.

Amarwasseenleavingtheareaonabikewithbloodstainsonhisclothesandhandbuttheydidn’trealisethereasonatthetimesincehewasinarush,familymemberclaimed. ThepoliceareinterrogatingAmarDastofindoutwhyhedidthisact,officialstated. Ourauthoritiesfiledacasebasedontheevidence,andtheculprit,AmarSinha,wasapprehendedlastnightinManipur’sJiribamdistrict,officialadded.
