  2. With a distinguished career in education spanning over two decades, Timand Bates has made significant contributions as a teacher, administrator, and program developer. He holds an M.A. in Teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in Languages and Literature from Bard College.

  3. As Program Manager for the Open Society University Network (OSUN), Timand Bates managed an $850k grant to deliver synchronous liberal arts courses to students worldwide, achieving remarkable increases in student enrollment and faculty engagement.

  4. His leadership experience at Bard College as Associate Dean of Students and Assistant Dean of Students involved spearheading initiatives in student support, diversity, and crisis management.

  5. Timand Bates has also taught and developed curricula for the Bard Prison Initiative, American University of Central Asia, and the Open Society University Network.
