  2. ABOUT THE SCHOOL • It was established in 1963 in a temporary building. it was shifted in its own permanent building in 1966. It is 5-section school up to class 10th and 4 section in plus two. pre-primary classes are also running. The strength of the Vidyalaya is above 2400, most of all children of central government employees.

  3. LOGO OF KENDRIYA VIDALAYA To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defense and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education

  7. PRIMARY SECTION The primary section is situated in the heart of the school. There are 30 teachers in our Primary section. I am the class-teacher of class Ist E.I am teaching English in 5th A,B. We are the students of class 5th A and B We are participating in the learning cycle. The name of our class- teachers are Madhu Lata Sharma, and Mr R.V.Singh respectively.

  8. OUR PRIMARY SECTION We follow books prescribed from NCERT. Our Kendriya Vidalaya has followed certain norm like COMMON MINIUM PROGRAMME for the holistic development of our students. In our we give lot of weightage to cultural activities and co– curricular activities.

COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAMME • Resource room fully equipped with LCD, computers, visualize, white boards etc. • Class- room library in a wall box containing story books, and mythological books. • Spoken English modules, programmes' in the morning assembly. • Reading cards in English for non- English speakers. • Teaching learning materials according to the lesson.

CALANDER PROGRAMME OF OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY LUNCH Children enjoy this day thoroughly by not bringing their Books on this day and only getting delicious preparation Made at home and sharing it will all members of their Class. The objective behind this celebration is to develop A communal harmony among all the students as in India Children come from various religion. To foster the feeling of brotherhood among the students this programme is Organized followed by a small cultural programme.

  17. CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION The children’s day is celebrated on 14th of November because on this day falls our first Prime Minister Jawhar Lal Nehru ‘s birthday. He was very found of children. This Day is celebrated in many ways in our school by conducting Cultural programmes , conducting sports activities, conducting painting competition, etc. This day children offer Red roses to their elders, as chacha Nehru loved roses.

  18. GRAND PARENTS DAY Grandparents are our heritage and are essential members of our families and communities. To honor them we celebrate this special day, by inviting them to school organizing skit, role play, play some games With them , share their experiences, offer them tea And snacks, and presents. Children also play musical chair with them.

  19. THINKING DAY World Thinking Day is the joint birthday of Lord Baden-Powell the founder of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting and his wife Olave who was the World Chief Guide. This day again is celebrated With students organizing camp fire, singing scout songs and Conducting all scout and guide activities.
