  4. Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen hailed yesterday’s Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon as a success, and urged organizers to make the event even better next year. Hailed – (v.) 讚揚

  8. “We started the event at 5:15am, and the temperature was around 19 degrees Celsius.

  9. Although it was a bit warm, there was a breeze throughout the course and that made the runner comfortable,” he said.

  10. Mr. Ko said changing attitudes to public health also made a difference to the increased turnout.
