  2. Water Sources • Natural spring on the Big Dive, the main island. • Desalination and pasteurization devices ( no electricity needed) that clean water in each home.

  3. Housing • Huts built out of trees • Some on land and some are built on stilts over the water.

  4. Environment • Warm year round (70-90F) • Rich soil • Hilly lands • Plantations

  5. Clothing • Cotton (from plantations) used to make clothing, with the cotton gin. • Animal hides • Indigo (from plantations) used to dye clothes

  6. Food • All food home grown • Fishing • Hunting

  7. Health • Island houses plants that can be easily used to heal almost any illness or injury

  8. Transportation & Trade • Canals for trading and transporting goods to the other islands • Foot travel • Markets located on each island to sell food
