  2. What are the units for weight? Weight is a measure Of how light or heavy Something is. • Ounces (oz) • Pounds (lb) • Tons (T)

  3. Weight in everyday life • We weigh ourselves on a scale • We buy certain groceries by the pound (lb), such as fruits, vegetables, and meats • We also work-out and grow strong by lifting weights at the gym.

  5. Weight in everyday life • We use tons (T) to measure the weight of large objects like bricks, concrete, and even trucks
