A new start should be welcomed by wisdom, embraced with enthusiasm, and accompanied by a will to grow. And as a teacher or home tutor, it should come with all these and more, because we are the example we teach the children to be. So what resolutions should you make this year? Here are a few to get the ball rolling:
Be More Creative Teaching and lessons can get monotonous and boring. Add a creative twist to learning and see how it becomes interesting for both you and your students. Educate the children with the help of movies, music, art, craft, and games.
Communicate More Improve your communication channel both with parents and students to better address the needs of the child, understand their requirements, and create a healthy balance for the child with the help of their parents.
Stay Positive Children look up to their teachers, and how your attitude is towards teaching, students, and in the classroom will be a make and break deal between how good you are as a teacher. A positive attitude will go a long way in making you likeable, approachable, and understandable.
Work Smart: Organize your space, study methods, and class schedule – work smart rather than working hard. A smart worker gets things done in an orderly and timely manner, rather than slogging all day long. This will allow you to manage your time and responsibilities in an orderly manner.
Be A Role Model: Students tend to look up to teachers. So make sure you practice what you preach, and look out for your students.
