  2. INTRODUCTION Do you have a hard time remembering dates, names, details? Being able to remember such details can be of huge advantage during exam time, day-to-day life, and even in work later on in life. We all have limitless capacity to memorise things, but it’s being able to recall that stored information that is a crucial point. Being able to remember information or not also adds to our personality. A person who is able to recall information correctly is considered smart and organised, whereas the opposite for someone who has a relatively bad recall capacity.

  3. 1. USE THE LOCI TECHNIQUE TO MEMORIZE A SPEECH: Research shows that this method dramatically improves memory. Scientists believe it works by utilizing our navigational and spatial memory skills.

  4. 2. USE ACRONYMS TO MEMORIZE A GROUP OF WORDS: Research suggests that we remember things better and retain them longer when we give meaning to them. So it’s much easier to recall a single vivid word or phrase than a list of information.

  5. 3. USE RHYMING TO MEMORIZE INFORMATION IN A SPECIFIC ORDER: Rhymes help us to memorize things as our brains are good at breaking down the sound structure of words. This is known as acoustic encoding.
