The Project • The Problem • Steve Clowes, Facilities Manager Garibaldi College, was frustrated with the regular • failure of Fluorescent tubes and 2D Fluorescent lamps; • Facilities staff constantly changing individual Fluorescent • Energy costs were high • The cost of replacement fluorescent tubes & 2D lamps were high • The Requirement • Kosnic were asked to prepare a comprehensive energy audit of the college’s • existing light fittings and propose retrofit replacement LED lamps. The main criteria; • Retain the existing light levels and reduce energy consumption • Payback period of less than 5 years
