  1. All That You Want To Know About Air Conditioner Condenser All That You Want To Know About Air Conditioner Condenser - An air conditioner condenser is accountable for condensing refrigerant vapor into liquid and cooling down. The condenser is made using a number of parts. When the condenser stops working it usually indicates that one or more parts in the condenser will have to be restored.

  2. Every air conditioner is made using a number of components. These include a condenser, compressor, evaporator and expansion valve. The air conditioner condenser is the external component and is typically found outside the house. It is the constituent that is accountable for the air conditioners cooling as it plays a significant role in heat transfer. How condensers like gsc130301 work? Basically, an air conditioner condenser is responsible for transforming refrigerant gas into liquid form. The compressor, which is situated in the air conditioner unit, squeezes the refrigerant and shoves into through the condenser. The air conditioner works just similar to that of a car’s radiator and assists to get rid of heat from the refrigerant creating more surface area to quickly cool the refrigerant.

  3. After parting the condenser, the refrigerant is a lot colder changing it into a liquid under the high pressure. The refrigerant sent into the house via the line set and sprayed into the evaporator coil through a little plunger. The pressure then drops and the refrigerant changes into a gas. As the refrigerant turns to gas from liquid, it pulls heat from the air around it leaving the air cooler than what it was earlier. The refrigerant then returns to the compressor via the line set and starts the cycle again. Although the condenser of the air conditioner is a single component, it is made up of diverse parts such as compressor, tubes, fans, motor, condenser coil and circuit board. When any of these parts do not work properly the condenser also stop working. Some of the common issues that condenser’s experience may include:

  4. • Leaks within seals and tubes • Dirt accumulate on the condenser which prevents the system from working properly • Relay switch on the condenser is not able to switch on and off the fan • The motor within the condenser has been burnt or has got damaged When it comes to determining whether to replace the condenser unit, you will need to take into account the age of the equipment. Due to ever changing technology, you may find it better to replace the unit after each few years even when the condenser can be repaired fast.
